Getting Started

App Installation

Download Links:

  • iOS: Available on the App Store (iOS 15.0 or later)
  • Android: Available on Google Play Store (Android 8.0 or later)
  • Enterprise: Contact IT for enterprise app distribution

System Requirements:

  • Storage: 500MB available space
  • RAM: 2GB minimum, 4GB recommended
  • Network: 4G/LTE or WiFi connection
  • Permissions: Microphone, camera, storage access

Initial Setup

  1. Download and Install the MedFeed app
  2. Open the App and tap "Get Started"
  3. Enter Server URL (provided by your IT department)
  4. Login with your hospital credentials
  5. Enable Permissions when prompted:
    • Microphone (for voice documentation)
    • Camera (for photo capture)
    • Notifications (for alerts)
    • Location (for context-aware features)

Biometric Authentication

Setup Biometric Login:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Security
  2. Enable Biometric Authentication
  3. Choose your preferred method:
    • Fingerprint (Touch ID/Fingerprint Scanner)
    • Face Recognition (Face ID/Face Unlock)
    • Voice Recognition (Voice biometrics)
  4. Follow the enrollment process
  5. Test the authentication method

Starting Voice Documentation:

  1. Tap the Voice button in the bottom navigation
  2. Select New Note or Continue Draft
  3. Choose Patient and Note Type
  4. Tap the Record button to start
  5. Speak clearly into the device microphone
