Step-by-step walkthrough of the MedFeed authentication process and main user dashboard, designed for first-time users and administrators.

Getting Started

Accessing MedFeed

  1. Open Your Browser - Navigate to your hospital's MedFeed URL (e.g., https://yourhospital.medfeed.io)
  2. Verify SSL Security - Ensure the padlock icon is visible in the address bar
  3. Bookmark the Page - Save the URL for quick future access

System Requirements

Supported Browsers:

  • Chrome 90+ (Recommended)
  • Firefox 88+
  • Safari 14+
  • Edge 90+

Device Requirements:

  • Desktop/Laptop: 1024x768 minimum resolution
  • Tablet: iOS 12+ or Android 8+
  • Mobile: iOS 12+ or Android 8+

Sign-In Process

First-Time Login

For New Users:

  1. Click "Sign Up" - If you don't have an account yet
  2. Enter Email Address - Use your hospital-provided email
  3. Check Your Email - Look for the invitation email from MedFeed
  4. Click Activation Link - This will take you to the password setup page
  5. Create Strong Password - Follow the password requirements shown
  6. Complete Profile - Add your name, department, and role information

Standard Login

For Existing Users:

  1. Enter Email Address - Your registered hospital email
  2. Enter Password - Your secure password
  3. Click "Sign In" - Or press Enter to submit
  4. Two-Factor Authentication (if enabled) - Enter the code from your authenticator app

Password Requirements

Security Standards:

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character (!@#$%^&*)
  • Cannot contain common dictionary words
  • Cannot be similar to previous passwords

Forgot Password

Password Recovery Process:

  1. Click "Forgot Password" on the login page
  2. Enter Your Email - The email associated with your account
  3. Check Your Email - Look for the password reset link
  4. Click Reset Link - This will take you to the password reset page
  5. Create New Password - Follow the security requirements
  6. Confirm New Password - Re-enter to verify
  7. Sign In - Use your new password to access the system
